Two paragraphs on knives. One paragraph on my wandering quarterstaff. I guess that isn't much better, though is it?
Well, two reasons. One was, like I said earlier, the dwarves take a really dim view of shaving. As for the other one, maybe you need to go back and reread my description? They were a foot long! And I'd say I didn't know where they'd been except that I do, and even though she was really good about cleaning them afterward I would have felt weird about asking if I could borrow her troll-disembowelling knives so I could scrape my face with them.
